Bye Bye Break

Woo-hoo! Back to school! Winter break is over! Yes!
Says no one ever. Especially not me. Unfortunately (for those of you that are in school, including myself) it is time to go back to school. Some of you may already be back and some of you may be counting down those last few days. Believe me I know that pain. But we've got to do it guys--we must.
I know that a lot of our kind will be trying to go to bed early and convince themselves that it's awesome and it will be a better year. So I'm going to try and help with some little tips that none of us will ever actually follow--but at least we're trying!
1. Start regulating your sleep schedule according to your school schedule about a week (preferably two) earlier than your return date. It will help you to sleep better when school does start.
2. Try and eat something in the morning. At least something small like a piece of toast to give you a bit of energy for the day.
3. Pack a snack. If your lunch is later in the day and you have a teacher that will let you eat in class it will help hold you over. Something small and simple. Try not to be too loud otherwise you might disturb the others around you.
4. Try and get your assignments done as they come in. I know how easy it is to procrastinate (believe me I know) but if you can go ahead and get your assignments done then do it. If you get assignments piled on all at once and have a hard time try planning them out. I understand that after a long day of school work coming home to more sucks but getting it done right away feels great.
5. Don't be afraid to take a breather. If you are in class or even at home in the middle of work and you start to feel anxious, distracted, or a bit ill see if it's possible for you to step into the hallway or go get water or go to the bathroom (especially if you're feeling ill or overly anxious). Taking that little breather can be such a help especially in such a closed environment
6. Remember that you're almost done. This school year is almost over. Summer is just around the corner.

I hope these tips actually help at least a few of you. I hope you had a great Holiday time (whichever holiday you celebrate). And Happy 2015 everyone! I can't wait to see what this year has to offer.

Also for a nice laugh on this subject I recommend watching IISuperwomanII's awesome video Going Back To School After The Holidays because I loved it. She is hilarious
