Forget the writing tab. I'm just going to post it here.
(All of the author's notes will be in italics and purple)
I figured I'd put my poems from my Creative Writing class in here. I don't usually write poetry but they aren't half bad so...

This one is based off of this video still:

Falling

It’s as simple as this.

She was falling,

Not for him.

Instead, for the idea of him.

Beckoning her out,

In the middle of the night.

She went, happily.

Then they were sinking.

The water, so cold and dark.

There was no way to breathe.

She was okay with that.

This time when she fell,

It was into her home.

It’s as simple as this.

Falling.

In this one the assignment was to write a love poem to something random. 

To the Night with Shining Armor

You take your time,

But the undeniable brightness does soon fade away.

Your darkness consuming the sky,

Leaving only small specks of glitter throughout.

Your beauty is endearing,

As the bruise-like colors begin to blend.

Many do not notice,

As they fall into a slumber,

Dreaming away their troubles.

Your magic fills the air,

Awakening the nocturnal wonders.

As they bathe in your strength,

Eyes resembling the moon,

The silver shield in the sky.

You do not stay though,

Sooner than I would like, you disappear.

Chased away by the bright mixture of pinks and blues.

Dreams fade and the Day breaks.
