Anna and The French Kiss

Hey guys,
First I want to say that I am so sad about Alan Rickman's death, it is awful. He was such an amazing actor and I wish I could've had the privilege of meeting him.

Onto today's post:
So I just finished reading Anna and The French Kiss a couple days ago and I thought I would make a review post about it. I thought of making it a video but decided to just go with a blog post as I find it easier to write reviews instead of saying them out loud. I tend to just ramble with many "uh's" and "um's" and "yeah's" and "I really liked it's"

The book follows the character Anna Ophilant is sent by her famous author of a father to a boarding school in Paris. Though it seems like the opportunity of a lifetime, Anna is less than thrilled as it means she will have to leave behind her home of Atlanta, with it her best friend, potential boyfriend, and her job. Her attitude certainly changes when she meets the handsome Etienne St. Clair, who definitely makes staying in Paris worthwhile.

I actually loved the book. I knew it was good, as I've heard tons about it, and upon reading it I know that I just have to read Stephanie Perkins other books. It took me virtually no time at all to read (I think probably around five hours combined, if that) and I loved the characters. Anna wasn't your typical romantic female main character and lacked the annoying cheesiness of many, which I loved about her.

I highly recommend the read.
